INSTALATION =========== You must have OpenGL and GLU files installed on your computer. refer to documentation of your distrobution for instructions on how to do that. ****** MORE INSTRUCTIONS TO GO HERE ********** You need a terminal to install wings first download the following files.... erlang.tar.bz2 esdl.tar.bz2 wings-x.xx.xx.tar.bz2 wingsinstall.sh You first need to be super user to do this. So type "su" (dont type the quotation marks) you will then be prompted for the root password. If you do not know this you will have to contact your sysadmin. now you simply have to run the wingsinstall.sh file. type "./wingsinstall.sh" provided everything went ok.... seeing a lot of files is normal. you should now be ready to run wings. type "exit" so you are no longer super user(root) type "wings3d" and you should be up and running. note: If you are using a desktop environment and want to set up an icon to run wings from remember to user the run in terminal option otherwise wings will not run.
